Michael O’Brien  and Friend’s the Band, is from  Cascade  Port of Spain.  O’Brien has performed  folk rock music  for the last 25yrs , with his then Rock Band name Synergy. They performed in the Anchorage Pop Rock Competition and came 2nd at in the year  2000 .

Band members  are Gary Thomson, lead guitar, Danesh Kissoon on the tabla  drums  and Michael O’Brien  lead vocals an guitar .

They also did a lot of original  songs which received airplay on local radio stations.
